Photos: Bill Asamoah, Mercy Asiedu & other Kumawood stars visit Abass Blinkz's family
It was a moment of sadness and grief when some Kumawood actors visited the family of their dead colleague, Abass Nurudeen aka Blinkz.
Blinkz, as earlier reported by YEN.com.gh was stabbed to death on Wednesday at Akorem in the Asokore Mampong Municipality in the Ashanti Region.
According to the police, Blinkz was stabbed after he tried to intervene in a quarrel involving his boss' wife.

Being a Muslim, Blinkz was to be buried on Thursday and the actors went to Blinkz's family house at Suame to condole the family.

The delegation was led by the Ashanti Regional chairman of the Ghana Actors’ Guild, Bill Asamoah.

Among the many Kumawood stars were actress Mercy Asiedu, movie producer Jones Agyemang.

In photos of the visit sighted it was obvious that the Kumawood fraternity had been shaken by the death of their colleague.

Meanwhile, one of the suspects alleged to have stabbed Blinkz to death has been arrested.

The suspect, Sumaila Tijani, as earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, was arrested at Atimatim in the Tafo-Pankrono Municipality.
According to sources at the Ashanti Regional Police Command has confirmed that Tijani was arrested at a hideout.
Earlier, YEN.com.gh had published similar sad photos of slay queens at the one-week observance of their colleague, Charlotte Abena Woodey.
