Asamoah Gyan’s wife, Gifty and children have secured new passports after Baffuor Gyan refused to return seized ones

News went viral that, Baffuor has seized Gifty and her children’s passports and other travel documents after Asamoah filed for a divorce.

According to MynewsGH.com report sighted by YEN.com.gh. Gifty after receiving new passport is out of the country with his children.

It could be recalled that, lawyers of Gifty lodged an official complaint at the East Legon Police Station after Baffour failed to submit the documents which he seized from Gifty when she arrived in the country.

The documents include her travel UK residence permit and that of her three children, their health insurance documents and passports.

According to the officials at the East Legon Police Station, all attempts to have him return the documents has proven futile as Baffour told them during a preliminary hearing that thieves broke into his car to steal all the passports and other documents.

YEN.com.gh had earlier reported that the court has ordered Asamoah Gyan to amend the name of his wife on his application for annulment.

Gyan was ordered by the court after he referred to his wife as Gifty Oware (her maiden name) instead of Gifty Gyan.
