Anyone monitoring the news especially on social media these days would likely be beaten down by the flurry of negativity that seems to come from Ghanaians.
It is still far-fetched to suggest that people have given up on Ghana. Losing hope is one thing but not offering to help make things better, is another.
In this spirit, YEN.com.gh asked our readers what would move them to die for Ghana.
For Facebook user Paa Kwesi Ninson, "Nothing will make me collapse for Ghana..". That can only be a blatant castigation of the situation that currently exists in the country.
We make no far-fetched assumptions on the statement by Ouedraogo Adama but the Facebook user thinks "Removing the incompetent short man from the presidency".
Wunnam K Bonafides is willing to die for Ghana when "Demonstrating against corrupt evil politicians". This may be supported by a well-meaning Ghanaians.
Sa M My brought things home a bit. This Facebook user said "I will for my family not Ghana" in a statement that would seem easy for a lot of people.
One of the harshest criticisms on why one may not die for Ghana came from the Facebook user Daisy Heming.
This user wrote: "Don't ask dump [sic] qtnz [questions] coz [sic] my ghost won't even die for Gh [Ghana]".
