On the night of Friday, November 16, a big concert was held in the Sierra Leonean capital of Freetown.
The packed to capacity venue, the National Stadium, according to reports, had 40,000 in there.
Representing Ghana at the concert which was dubbed ECOWAS Festival (ECOFEST) were two superstars, Kuami Eugene and Patapaa.
In videos sighted by YEN.com.gh, the two gave very account of themselves with exhilarating performances to the charged crowd.
Kuami Eugene lit up the venue with his silky and sweet voice as he performed back-to-back hits to the excitement of fans.
Patapaa, on the other hand, delivered an electrifying performance with his worldwide hit track, 'One Corner' being the fulcrum.
The concert, put together by Kabaka Multimedia Entertainment (KME), also saw artistes like Innocent Salone, Patoranking, Arkman, Dallas B, Drizilik, Empress P, Kao Denero, Boss LAJ, LXG and a host of others across the continent.
Watching the video, there is no doubt Patapaa and Kuami Eugene were shown much love by fans in Sierra Leone and the reception was not historic considering the number.
Moreover, it has not been long since some of Ghana's topmost artiste including Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were literally shunned while to a an even smaller crowd at the Eko Hotels in Lagos during Menzgold's official launch in Nigeria.
Maybe our artistes need to look elsewhere than Nigeria to get more fans.
