Out of the 9,000 votes cast, Mr. Nketia polled a whopping 6644 to emerge victor and retain his position.

Meanwhile, his only competitor Koku Anyidoho managed to poll just 1655 of the total votes cast at the Congress.

Reacting to the outcome of the result, Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC, Ade Coker said he wasn’t surprised that Mr. Nketia recorded a landslide victory.

Ako Gunn was also elected the deputy Communications Director, while Sammy Gyamfi was elected National Communicator of the party.
