Oye Lithur thrills delegates with wild dance moves

- Nana Oye Lithur could not hide her joy as she dance to the Shatta Wale's "I know my level" song

- The former minister allegedly began to dance when she realized Samuel Ofosu Ampofo could become the party's chairman

The former minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection Minister, Nana Oye Lithur joined a some delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as they danced to Shatta Wale’s ‘I know my level’ hit song.

At the just ended two-day delegates' congress of the NDC, the former minister could not hide her joy when it became clear that Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, was in the lead as the ballots were still being collated.

The Fantasy Dome where the NDC held its 9th National Delegates’ Congress, suddenly exciting when the DJ dropped the song amid jubilation by Ampofo’s supporters, although the winner had not been announced.

The NDC’s delegate congress happened to be the first longest delegate congress the country had ever witnessed.

It witnessed scores of party faithfuls and card bearing NDC members fill up the fantasy dome as they came to exercise their franchise to elect the party’s national executives.

The winners for the delegates congress after over 16 hours of voting and several hours of sorting and counting, indicate Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Johnson Asiedu Nketia and Joshua Akamba will lead the National Democratic Congress for the next four years as Chairman, General Secretary and National Organiser, respectively.

The congress which started on Saturday, November 17 2018, came to an end, the following day, amid joy on the part of winners like Asiedu Nketia and disappointment for the likes of Anita De- Soso and Fred Agbenyo.
