Suspected killer of Abass Nurudeen remanded

The suspected killer of Kumawood actor, Abass Nurudeen, Tijani Sumalia has been remanded in prison for two weeks.

Tijani appeared at the Asokore Mampong Municipal Court on Monday, November 19, 2018 but he will spend another weeks in prison.

Tijani is expected to appear in court on December 3, 2018.

It is believed Tijani was one of the suspects to have murdered the Kumawood actor popularly known as Blinkz.

However, two days after Blinkz’s death, Tijani was arrested at Atimatim in the Tafo-Pankrono Municipality.

Blinkz was stabbed to death Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at Akurem, a suburb between Aboabo and Sawaaba in Kumasi.

Blinkz, who worked with the Acheamfour Terminal, a transport company, met his death when he visited his master’s house.

Meanwhile, longtime girlfriend of the late Kumawood actor, Nana Yaa, has revealed that Blinkz was the third person Tijani has killed in the community.

According to Nana Yaa, Tijani killed someone and absconded to Libya.

She added that, the case was made a 'foolish' case by the family members of the killer.
