YEN.com.gh is in possession of screenshots of bomb threats that have surfaced on the campus of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
According to a report by MyNews.com, the messages surfaced on Jodel, a social media platform.
The platform reportedly hides the identity of the user, and for that reason, attempts to establish the identity of those behind the threats have proven futile.
For that reason, students are hesitant to go for lectures as part of the messages revealed plans to attack students in lecture halls on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.
On the various student platforms, some have called on the appropriate authorities not to make light of the situation, juxtaposing that to recent heighten events in the university.
Academic work at KNUST was restored to normalcy on Monday, November 19, 2018, after a violent students uprising led to the shutdown of the university for three weeks.
