Baffuor Gyan, brother of the captain of the Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, has pleaded with a court to delay a DNA test which will help determine who fathered Gifty Gyan’s children.
According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, the request was placed because of a football match with Ethiopia.
The match is a qualifier for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by Cameroun.
The DNA test was scheduled take place on the 19th November, 2018 under the instructions of the court.
Information available to YEN.COM.GH shows that Asamoah Gyan did not play in the match, as the coach, Kwesi Appiah, concluded he was mentally unfit to play.
Asamoah Gyan however claimed that he was a used substitute for “tactical reasons” and not because he was unfit in any way.
Ghana won the match in Addis Ababa with 2 goals, all scored by Crystal Palace forward, Jordan Ayew.
