- Anthony Martial is yet to pen a contract extension with Manchester United
- His situation at United is being monitored by top European clubs including Juventus and Chelsea
- The Blues are said to be keen to enhance their attack-line and they have now lined up Martial to bolster their squad
Manchester United are bracing for a January interest for unsettled Frenchman, Anthony Martial, from top European clubs including Chelsea and Juventus.
Chelsea are understood to be plotting a January move for the winger if they can offload one of their own forwards.
Martial is yet to pen a new deal at Old Trafford, with Metro UK reporting the 22-year-old recently rejected United's latest proposal.
Be that as it may, the Red Devils have the option of extending Martial’s deal with a 12-month extension clause.
The Manchester outfit may, however, have to offload the Frenchman should he continue his reluctance to commit his future with the club.
Martial's failure to settle at United has also attracted the interest of Juventus who were keen to sign him last summer before the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The star winger was twice on target for United in their 2-2 dramatic draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Despite having several run-ins with Red Devils manager, Jose Mourinho, United chiefs are said to be keen to be desperate to tie Martial down to a new deal.
Martial arrived at Old Trafford in 2015 from Monaco and has since extablished himself as a regular in Mourinho's squad owing to Alexis Sanchez's lackluster performances.
His impressive form has seen him become a popular figure among United fans and has scored in each of his six appearances for the Red Devils.
