Pastor Emmanuel Nana Appiah, a junior pastor of Badu-Kobi's Glorious Wave Chapel International who was seen in a trending video believed to have been taken after he was caught with a married woman has spoken.
The preacher indicated that the issue was a set up be a woman he named as Deborah who lured him into her house under the pretext of being very ill.
According to Appiah, Deborah, the lady who set him up was from Kumasi. He added that he arranged for someone from the UK to marry her but they had to cancel because she was not honest to the man who intended to marry her and his mother.
He narrated that he was called last Friday by Deborah to come and check up on her because she was sick. Appiah however turned down the invitation and went ahead to send money to Deborah from his wife’s phone.
Deborah however kept begging him to come and see here so he (Appiah) gave in and went to see after she called him on a video call and she was captured groaning on the floor.
The story continued that he went to visit her on Monday, November 19, 2018 only to meet her sweating profusely. Deborah requested to take her bath before they prayed together.
She returned from the bathroom with just a towel covering her and before he (Appiah) got the chance to send her to go and change, another woman from the kitchen and some men pounced on him and started attacking him.
Not long ago, YEN.com.gh reported a story after the picture of the supposed married woman who was 'caught' with Appiah went viral on social media.
Reports that made rounds on social media, indicated that Pastor Appiah, popularly known as Biblical, was caught on a Sunday after church service in the home of a supposed married woman.
In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the junior pastor who was in a white singlet and white pair of boxer shorts was seen being manhandled by some men.
The story accompanying the video indicated that Appiah was caught while he was trying to sleep with a lady in her room. The young lady's sister who came to meet them got angry and Appiah struck her in the face.
So she started screaming and some guys in the area heard and came to her rescue. It was after the guys realized that Appiah was a pastor that they started manhandling him to the point of trying to remove his clothes.
In his defence, Appiah could be heard saying that he was innocent and that the lady had plotted with others to get him killed.
