Ibrah One granted bail of GHC 550,000

- Ibrah one has been granted bail following his arrest

- The bail is to the tune of GHC 550,000 with two sureties.

Ghanaian millionaire Ibrahim Dauda, popularly known as Ibrah One, has been granted bail by the Accra Circuit Court, following his arrest over fraud.

Ibrah One is known for displaying his luxury cars, apartments and luxurious life style on his various social media handles.

According to Daily Heritage reports, Ibrah One's bail, is to the tune of GHC 550,000 with two sureties, one to be justified.

The case has, however, been adjourned to December 5, 2018 after the accused pleaded not guilty to all three counts.

However, early this year, he came under the spotlight after he was accused of defrauding a businessman Ahmed Nurudeem of an amount of GHc543, 380.

The prosecutor, DSP Nanegbe told the court that on September 17, 2017 Nurudeen wanted to transfer €100, 000 to a company in Germany and gave an Ecobank cheque with face value of GHc543, 380.00 equivalent to €100,000.00, to Ibrah to do it on his behalf.

Checks later revealed that the accused did not transfer the money into the company’s account in Germany.

The complainant was then forced to petition Director General of the Criminal Investigations Department for investigation, which led to the arrest of Ibrah One.

The young millionaire was subsequently charged on three counts – defrauding by false pretense and two counts of altering forged documents.
