The 2012 Old Students Association of Teshie Presbyterian Senior High School, or AGABOT as the backward acronym says, has donated gifts and performed charitable acts at the Teshie Children's Home as part of their social responsibility.
According to a representative of 2012 AGABOT, Elton Nii Adjetey Obour, the group thought it was wise to do charitable work in partnership with other members of the Teshie community.
At the Teshie Children's Home on November 17, the 2012 batch of AGABOT members partnered a popular barber, Isaac Ashie, also known as Ganyobi Ashie Brasti who gave the kids and some staff, haircuts.
The members of AGABOT also played games with the kids including table tennis, ludo and cards. The fun and food that was accompanied by prizes for the kids obviously made them happy.
The members of AGABOT are planning to follow up on their charity with a youth education and sensitisation event marked with a health walk on the 15th of December later this year.
The AGABOT team is looking to campaign against drug abuse especially, the now popular substance called Tramadol. A party is then scheduled for the 22nd of December 2018.
A number of activities have been planned by 2012 AGABOT for the year of 2019. Chief among them is a donation to their alma mater.
