An unidentified woman, who is a client of GN Bank, has been involved in a fight with a policeman at the Mampong branch of the bank.
The customer, YEN.com.gh has learnt, has been constantly visiting the branch for her money but to no avail.
On her last visit, the woman lost her cool when she was asked to return the next day, and proceeded to attack the security man present.
Regardless of assurances given by the founder of the bank, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, that all deposits are safe, some clients have reportedly complained of their inability to access their funds.
According to Jacob, the officer involved in the brawl, the customer “…entered the banking hall angrily and I decided to calm her down but she refused and later insulted me but I didn’t mind her.”
He added that inasmuch as he tried to calm her down, the woman held his neck, until people rushed in to separate them.
Jacob tried to calm her down, but the woman pointed her finger at him and tried to poke his eyes.
His colleagues then called for reinforcement, but the woman misbehaved towards them as well.
