The assistant headmaster of the Kumasi High School, George Amponsah-Duodo, who was suspended on grounds of sodomizing some students of the school, has denied claims of that accusation.
He rather described the allegations as baseless, saying he had no contact whatsoever with the alleged victims of his sodomy.
Lawyers of the accused have described the allegations as baseless in a letter from his lawyers, Amponsah-Duodo insisted that he has not had any contact with the alleged victim.

According to them of Amponsah Duodu, the committee which was set up to look into the allegations was necessitated by mere hearsay with out any evidence
Citi News reported that during investigations, the assistant headmaster’s name was cited by a final year student of the school identified as Lucien Dankwa, as having introduced him to homosexuality.
Aside Lucien, four other students are so far said to have leveled allegations against the assistant school head.
The lawyers warned that individuals making allegations against him would be “subjected to rigorous cross-examinations” during disciplinary proceedings.
“It is our submission that the mere mention of his name without more [evidence] cannot render him liable for the charge of sexual misconduct.”
They also urged the committee investigating the matter to “compel Lucien Dankwa to provide proof of the allegation of sexual misconduct or homosexual act if any.
