There was drama at a church during a wedding last Sunday after the first wife of the man stormed the venue to create a scene.
The peeved woman came to the church to pour palm oil on the would be second wife soiling her white gown.
In a video making rounds on social media and sighted by YEN.com.gh, the first wife and her rival could be seen exchanging words after the latter's gown had been soiled.
The husband and other onlookers had a difficult time trying to separate the two rivals from clashing phyisically.
According to Instagram blog Instablog9ja which shared the video, the incident happened at a place called Orji in Owerri, the capital of the Nigeria's Imo State.
“True life story. A man went to Apostolic Church at Orji in Owerri North to wed his second wife, but the church rejected him.
He went to Altar of prayer Gospel ministry at Nkwo Orji same Owerri North and the pastor accepted to wed them.
On the day of the wedding, 25th being on Sunday, the first wife came and poured red oil on the second wife’s wedding gown. I was there live. All these ministries, make una take una time. Just because of money, you want to go against the word of God,” who reportedly witnessed the incident was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, a Zimbabwean air force pilot identified as Tashinga Musonza has allegedly murdered his lawyer girlfriend, Miss Lucy Duve over allegations of infidelity.
According to reports, 29-year-old Musonza who was cohabiting with his deceased 32-year-old girlfriend, Lucy in Windsor Park suburb, was convinced she was seeing his colleague and decided to confront her about it.
But it ended bloody as he beat the woman to death.
