"I'm from Nkoranza in the Brong Ahafo region and I'm the chief of Sefwiman. It's been three years since I was enstooled as chief, I had then returned from Madagascar. I made the elders aware I wouldn't leave my football career for the chieftaincy role".

"They initially didn't like the idea but I argued I wouldn't want to leave my passion for people especially the aged to worship me as a chief. It doesn't affect me because I perform rituals yearly and in the adjudicating of cases and emergency situations, I have elders who do that in my absence. I only go back in emergency situations."

He also added that, his teammates, the technical team and the management of Kotoko know that he is chief.

He stressed that he has no intentions of quitting football for chieftaincy now.
