Chinese children sing ‘Borborleborbor’ in latest video against Akufo-Addo

Chinese children sing ‘Borborleborbor’ in latest video against Akufo-Addo has seen a video of some Chinese school children singing the ever popular ‘Borborleborbor’.

The children appeared to be singing with their female teacher, according to the voice which led the singing in the background.

The teacher whose face was not showing was heard saying in the Akan language: “The day Mahama would win [the 2020 elections], Akufo-Addo would hear… [then the Chinese children respond] Wo beti ‘borborleborbor’”.

Their demenour showed that they were indeed enjoying the song., however, cannot say if the teacher and the Chinese children were in Ghana and recorded the video here, or if she was teaching them abroad.

But the video has triggered interesting reactions from Ghanaians.

Meanwhile, ‘Borborleborbor’ is a gospel song which is currently making waves on the Ghanaian airwaves.

Also, the NDC has revealed plan to adopt the song for their 2020 elections campaign.

Recently, former president Mahama was in the news for dancing to the song during his 60th birthday party held for him.

In a related development, Mahama campaign team has said it is soliciting funds from supports to raise money for the GH₵400,000, and GH₵20,000 filing fee, and nomination form, respectively.

The spokesperson, for the campaign team, James Agyenim Boateng, said many people have pledged to support the former president so that he can contest the flagbearership of the party.

Other presidential candidates including Prof Joshua Alabi, has registered their displeasure at the fees which they have described as “hefty and unacceptable”

The NDC has slated its presidential primaries for January 19, 2019.
