There is talk going on that the relationship between President Nana Akufo-Addo and former Energy minister, Boakye Agyarko has turned sour following the latter's forced resignation from government in August.
This follows the emergence of a video on social media in which the two virtually snubbed each other when they met in public for the first time since Agyarko left his post.
In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, it could be observed that the two barely shook hands as Akufo-Addo went around greeting people.
While Akufo-Addo failed to look into Agyarko's eyes, the former minister also did not seem interested in extending his hand to be shaken.
And he withdrew immediately their hands touched making it look like he was being forced to greet the president.
The awkward episode, YEN.com.gh understands, happened at last Wednesday's memorial held in honour the late Ayawaso West Wuogon MP, Kyeremateng Agyarko who happens to be the younger brother of the former Energy minister.
Known to be very close pals before the whole resignation issue came up, the awkward moment captured in the video has raised eyebrows with suggestions that Agyarko is still peeved at President Akufo-Addo over the matter.
It will be recalled that Agyarko was axed from the government over issues concerning the review of the Ameri power deal.
Agyarko has since been silent and until the demise of his brother, had not been seen in public.
