Controversial actress Rosemond Brown has been caught in a huge gaffe when she attempted to explain her roots.
The budding actress is reported to have goofed big while trying to explain that she traces her roots from both Ghana and Togo.
She is quoted as saying is a recent interview that she is both Ghanaian and “Togolean”, instead of Togolese.
“I am half Ghanaian, Half Togolean.” (She said Togolean instead of Togolese),” she said, as quoted by MyNewsGh.com.
“I was born at Suhum…I attended Suhum Roman, Ofori Payin and Adonten Senior High School,” she added.
Rosemond Brown has often been in the news due to her propensity to court controversy.
Earlier this year, the actress accused AMG rapper Medikal of pestering her and even trying to rape her.
In one of her viral video, Rosemond drew attention to herself after making wild claims against the “Too risky” hit maker.
However, she later made a big U-turn, explaining that at no point did Medikal try to rape her as she had previously claimed.
According to her, the video in which she accused the rapper of raping her was simply a “joke”.
“I just stand up and do the video, and I do a trending one. I can be with you right now and when I do it, you would think I am mad,” she told Accra-based Neat FM.
“It’s just a joke and he knows that it is a joke. And I informed him before doing the video.”
Meanwhile, she also previously courted controversy after accusing veteran actors Fred Amugi and Prince Yawson (Waakye) of having sexual affairs with her – claims which they both deny.
Rosemond Brown later revealed that she made those allegations in order to become popular.
