The supposed receiver of the alleged HIV and syphilis-contaminated blood has been kicked out from the private health facility in Kumasi, where she was supposed to be on admission.
The 46-year-old woman, who was on admission at the Kean Health Center would have been transfused with contaminated blood from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) Blood Bank had a test not been carried out.
According to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on MyewsGh.com, the woman was asked to go home by authorities of the private facility even though she was still in dire need of medical attention.

“I have been asked to go home even though I have ran out of blood. I am pleading with the health authorities to ensure that I am transfused with blood to prevent me from dying”
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a blood sample purchased for the woman from the KATH blood bank was purportedly infected with HIV and Syphilis.
The first test of the samples, according to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh witnessed a tense atmosphere during the over two-hour period that the samples were taken to the lab.

News of the alleged infected blood went haywire after a Facebook user, Addo-Kwabla Evans, alleged that the blood had been sold to his mother who had visited the hospital for treatment.
His alarm followed a screening of the blood by Kean Medical Center, a private health facility in Kumasi.
The case is however under investigation to ascertain the true results of the blood sample that was purchased at the KATH blood bank.
