Rasheeda Adams is an ex-wife of controversial National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Kumbungu, Ras Mubarak.
She is by herself, an accomplished media personality who has noted that she is not ready to remarry.
Adams is obviously not as popular as her former husband but she is a gender rights advocate and has been vocal about such issues.
She is the founder of CTV Africa, an independent television station looking to promote only Ghana-made content.
Adams is also the host of a global affairs programme aptly known as Global Affairs TV. This perhaps points to her understanding of politics and the media.
To her list of accomplishments, Adams is also into the housing business. She owns a real estate firm called City Realtors that offers assistance to people looking for accommodation in Accra.
In a report filed by Mynewsgh.com, Rasheeda Adams wrote on Facebook: “Like I always say to my mum. “I’ve done my jail time”. Nobody should dare say the word “marriage” in my presence for the next 30 years."
Adams reflected in different Facebook posts recently about her supposedly unfortunate time in marriage to Mubarak.
She was however not forthcoming with the details of the marriage she described as a "jail time".
