Wolves hand Chelsea second defeat of the season with a 2-1 win

- Chelsea suffered their second defeat of the season to newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers

- Ruben Loftus-Cheek continued his goalscoring form as he put his side ahead in the first half

- But a goal each from Raul Gimenez and Diogo Jota turned the game on its head to hand Wolves a famous win

Wolverhampton Wanderers were 2-1 winners over visiting Chelsea in a Premier League fixture played at the Molineux.

The defeat becomes Maurizio Sarri second in all competitions since taking over the mantle in the summer.

It was Ruben Loftus-Cheek who got the first goal in the 18th minute for Chelsea as his initial shot took a heavy deflection that wrong-footed Rui Patricio in goal.

Maurizio Sarri's side took the 1-0 lead into the break but Wolves had other ideas coming into the second period.

And in the 57th minute, Gibbs White darted into the Chelsea defence and slipped the ball through to Raul Jimenez who strikes his shot low and hard to beat Kepa in goal to make it 1-1.

Six minutes later the home side turned the game on its head as Diogo Jota sent the Molineux fans into frenzy as he slammed in a Matt Doherty's assist to make it 2-1 to Wolves.

Eden Hazard got in the mood to put his side back into the match as his right-foot shot went over the bar.
