Manchester United and Arsenal settle for 2-2 draw in Premier League tie

- Manchester United and Arsenal on Wednesday night, December 5, settled for a 2-2 draw in a Premier League match

- Mustafi and Lacazette scored Arsenal's two goals, while Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard scored for Manchester United

- Arsenal are now occupying fifth position on the Premier League standings with 31 points, while United occupy eight with 23 points

Manchester United on Wednesday night, December 5, played out a 2-2 draw with bitter rivals Arsenal in a Premier League tough encounter decided at Old Trafford.

The two teams displayed good football from the blast of the whistle till the final minute of this Premier League duel.

But it was the visitors that took the lead at Old Trafford when Shkodran Mustafi's powerful header was hard for Manchester United goalie David De Gea to save.

Manchester United restored parity in the 30th minute through Anthony Martial who was assisted by Ander Herrera.

Anthony Martial however gave himself a nice birthday gift with the goal he scored against the Gunners.

Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette gave Arsenal the lead again in the 68th minute when he scored after benefiting from a glorious assist by Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

But the Red Devils leveled up just within one minute through Jesse Lingard who sent Arsenal goalie Leno the wrong way.

The two teams were unable to get the winning goal at Old Trafford and had to settle for a draw as the match ended 2-2.
