Neville is one of the open critics of Mourinho since the start of this season but the former Chelsea boss believed his side's performance was "full of soul".

"There was big soul by the players, fantastic attitude from the first minute. We should win the game. We made two big mistakes for the goals.

"The second goal comes in an awful moment when the team was on top of the game. We drew 2-2, but we scored four goals, and even when we play well we always shoot ourselves.
