Stonebwoy compares his kingship in dancehall music to the reign of Asantehene

Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, says that his position as supposedly Ghana's best dancehall artiste can be compared to the kingship of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. For Stonebwoy, a true king did not need to tell everyone that he was king.

According to the ‘Top Skanka’ hitmaker, there was no need for a truly superior person or professional to make noise about their apparent superiority.

After all, such superiority would naturally follow from the works of the person and how they are received by everyone.

Stonebwoy was speaking in an interview with KMJ on Showbiz Now on Joy Prime.

Stonebwoy was responding to a question about how it felt to win so many accolades respecting him as the top reggae dancehall artiste in Africa.

Although he refrained from mentioning the name of his most vocal competitor Shatta Wale, it is almost impossible for any entertainment observer to not do the comparison.

Shatta Wale is the more vocal and fierce artiste of the two. He is known to have described himself as the richest Ghanaian musician in the country.
