Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Menzgold Ghana Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah, has ordered all staff of the company to proceed on compulsory leave.
According to a report by 3News.com, this is due to the constant threats from aggrieved clients of the firm.
Again, all branch managers of the firm have been transferred to the company’s headquarters at Dzorwulu in Accra.
The directive, which was issued on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, would take effect from Monday, December 10, 2018.
Apart from the branch manager, all staff members are expected to resume duties on Thursday, December 20, 2018.
By that date, the company revealed that it intends to settle all outstanding entitlements, including end-of-year packages.
The statement further disclosed that the current environment for the staff members is “not conducive for operational activities.
“Continue to calm and keep faith and be rest assured that we shall endeavour to ensure you have job security,” the firm assured the customers.
It also added that said the date for the company’s end-of-year staff durbar will be communicated by management soon, noting Mensah will personally address the staff on the future of the company.
The CEO finally thanked staff for their cooperation, faith, confidence and “unmatched sacrifices” for the cause of the company.
