Ghanaian music group Praye, has released their first music video after they recently announced their reunion.
The video which is for their song, 'Gbang Gbai', was dropped Thursday, December 6, 2018 after they got back together as a music group in August this year.
Praye Tintin, Praye Tietia and Praye Honeho, the three musicians formed the group Praye during the maiden edition of reality music show, 'Nescafe African Revelations'.
Since then, they rocked Ghanaian music lovers with back to back hit songs such as 'Shordy', 'Wodin', 'Angelina', 'Jacket', among others until their split in 2014.
After few attempts of a reunion, the three musicians got back as a group in August this year with a group performance at the 2018 VGMAs and consequently released 3 singles; 'Gbang Gbai', 'Adesoa' and 'Disco Light' in October 2018.
'Gbang Gbai' has received a lot of air play plus attention from Ghanaians since it was released and now Praye has released a video for the single.
In an interview with YEN.com.gh, Praye Tietia also known as Big J Cartel, revealed that the 'Gbang Gbai' video which was directed by Oskhari, was set to shoot their career up even more than what they witnessed in the last decade.
“We are back and we are back for good. The Praye group is here to stay and bring back hits upon hits to the music lovers like we used to do back in the days,” he said.
When asked how the comeback of the group has been so far, Praye Tietia admitted that they were indeed enjoying their comeback; “We are getting a lot of attention even though we got together again few months ago. I believe it is because we released 3 hot songs, one of which is Gbang Gbai that is doing very well.”
“We urge our fans and Ghanaians in general to keep supporting Praye and continue patronizing our art like they always do. And for sure we will also continue to produce nothing but the best of great Hip Life music. Also, the full video is on our You Tube channel @PrayeOfficial so everyone should go watch and subscribe to the channel” he added.
