The President of Ghana and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has predicted a landslide victory for himself and the NPP ahead of the 2020 general elections.
Speaking at the commissioning of an Assembly building and a school complex for Anyaa L/A Basic School a suburb of Accra, the president said he was going to win the elections hands down.
According to him, due to massive development projects his government was embarking on, wining the election was not going to be difficult.
“The one million difference we gave in 2016, we are going to increase it, on the basis of the work we are doing”
Akufo- Addo emphasised that he had done enough to secure him a second term in office as the nation's leader.
President Akufo-Addo was in the news recently after he was hailed by a section of Ghanains for donating his November salary to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
The president, Nana Akufo-Addo has donated his November salary of GHC25,000 to the Reconstructive Plastic Surgery Fund.
The donation, YEN.com.gh has gathered, was his contribution to resourcing the Fund to assist Ghanaians who may require plastic surgery.
Akufo-Addo who was on a three-day tour of the Greater Accra region, made the donation while commissioning the National Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Burns Centre of the hospital.
