Nadia Buari, Jackie Appiah and other Ghanaian celebrities who come from "dada ba" homes
Many celebrities from around the world come from relatively privileged homes. Indeed, just as there are doctor and lawyer families, there are certain families that produce actors, musicians and writers.
Of course, there are other celebrities that have nothing special in their background. But in either case, we should take nothing from the hard work a celebrity has put in to earn all that fame and money.
But this article is a celebration of those famous Ghanaians who have had a huge push due to the families they were born into.

1. Jackie Appiah
Born in Canada, Appiah had the opportunity to live and school for some time in that country.
YEN.com.gh cannot confirm but it is rumoured that she holds a Canadian passport as at now.
2. M.anifest
Kwame Ametepe Tsikata, also known as M.anifest, was born into a very notable family. His father, Tsatsu Tsikata, is an acclaimed lawyer and politician.
His maternal grandfather is an internationally known ethno-musicologist.
3. Nadia Buari
Nadia Buari had the privilege of being born to one of the most powerful men in Ghanaian showbiz circles in the 80s and 90s.
When Buari transitioned into acting, one could say the pathway was cleared partially due to her father.
4. Sandra Ankobiah
On her own, Ankobiah can match any modern woman. She is a lawyer, an intellectual and a TV personality.
Her father was a high-ranking military man who took his daughter through the fine ways of life.
5. Efya
Born to a pioneer of Ghanaian film and television programming and a university lecturer, Efya Awindoor, had the connection to the limelight way before her first song.
Of course, she is talented but it does not hurt to say that she had support too.
6. Majid Michel
Majid Michel came onto Ghanaian screens in the 1990s. Michel was born to a Lebanese merchant family in Ghana.
He has lived in Ghana for most of his life.

7. Andre Ayew
The most celebrated son of football legend, Abedi 'Pele' Ayew, Andre, was born in Marseille in France.
He is one of the most loved Ghanaian footballers and his father even serves as his agent.
