Some irate customers of gold dealership company Menzgold have threatened to go down with the CEO of the company Nana Appiah Mensah popularly known as NAM1 if he fails to pay their monies by the close of Friday, December 7, 2018.
The deadline give by the aggrieved customers is already up. But the new week is perhaps when any aggressive action may be taken.
Adomonline.com reports that the frustrated customers whose millions are still locked up with Menzgold warned they may be tempted to unleash their wrath on the CEO.
The customers indicate that increasingly, it is looking as if an aggressive or physical manifestation of their anger is what may get their monies back.
This threat came following a statement that was released by the company asking all their staff to proceed on leave from December 10 to 20, 2018.
The customers are however calling on the government to intervene in the issue to make the retrieval of their huge sums with Menzgold possible.
But the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, has already indicated that government will not pay the wronged customers.
The activities of the gold dealership company were halted by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) after the regulatory body determined that the company was not licensed to do gold trading.
