A primary school girl has reportedly lost her very young life under the most tragic circumstances in the Ashanti Region.
The young girl identified as Grace Arthur was a pupil of the Akrofuom D/A Primary School in the Adanse South District.
According to Michael Owusu Afriyie aka Teacher Kwadwo (the comedian), who happens to be the teacher of Grace, she died from a suspected case of rabies.
In a post on his Facebook page, Teacher Kwadwo revealed that Grace had been bitten by a dog in her house but was not given any treatment.
It got to a point that her situation worsened and she was even heard barking, the mother is said to have disclosed.
But she could not get treatment for daughter because she did not have money to pay the hospital bill.
According to her, when she first took the child to the hospital, she was aksed to pay GH¢350 (probably for anti rabies medication) but because she could not afford, she took the girl home effectively ending the girl's life.
