Liverpool on Saturday, December 8, climbed to the top of the Premier League standings after beating AFC Bournemouth 4-0 in their EPL match day 16 encounter.
The combination of Brazilian star Roberto Firmino and Egypt international Mohamed Salah was superb up front for Liverpool as these two players gave Bournemouth defenders problems.
The hosts had the first chance to score in the 7th minute when Simon Francis located Joshua King with a long pass, but Alisson was at his best to deny him from scoring.
Liverpool took the lead in the 25th minute through Mohamed Salah as Bournemouth goalie Asmir Begovic was unable to hold on to a long range effort from Roberto Firmino.
Firmino provided another superb assist for Mohamed Salah to score his second goal of the match in the 48th minute.
The situation later turned sour for AFC Bournemouth in the 68th minute as defender Steve Cook netted an own goal to give Liverpool a three-goal lead.
Mohamed Salah scored his third goal of the match in the 77th minute for Liverpool to win the game 4-0.
