Much improved Manchester United silence Fulham 4-1 at Old Trafford

Manchester United were on fire as they completely dominated Fulham beating them 4-1 at Old Trafford on Saturday, December 8.

Goals from Ashley Young, Juan Mata, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford helped secure Jose Mourinho maximum points from the encounter.

Fulham were at least allowed a goal after Ander Herrera was judged by the referee to have brought down Aboubakar Kamara in the box.

However, the replay showed that he got a toe on the ball before his man.

And Kamara made no mistake in drilling the ball home from the spot in the 67th minute.

Diogo Dalot was impressive for the Red Devils and kept floating in beautiful crosses into Fulham's box and posing a threat to Claudio Ranieri's defence.

Mourinho will be pleased with his sides performance in terms of energy and direct play that produced a torrent of goals to seal the game.

Andre Zambo Anguissa was handed his second booking of the game after he was deemed to have fouled Rashford.

He was sent off after yet another controversial decision by the referee in the 68th minute.

The result temporarily pushes Manchester United to 6th in the table with 26 points.
