Multiple award-winning rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, has reportedly added the production and sale of sachet water to his line of businesses.
According to reports sighted on Asembi.com, the 'Can't Let You Go' singer, who came out with a clothing line that did not see so much success, has diverted his business focus into drinking water.
Photos of the sachet water believed to be called Sark's Natural Mineral Water, have already gone viral on social media with fans clamouring to purchase some.
The new line of business is yet to be confirmed by the BET award winner who is noted for his plush clothing line, Sark Collections.
Apart from Sarkodie, other celebrities like Kumawood star, Emelia Brobbey, is also into the business and has promoted it on most of her social media pages.
Not too long ago, YEN.com.gh reported that Sarkodie had been included among the top 10 most paid musicians in Africa making him invariably, the highest-earning musician in Ghana.
This was revealed during the 5th All Africa Music Awards Business Summit which was held in Accra last week.
The list was compiled after an in-depth research was carried out by Forbes in collaboration with Channel O.
Sarkodie who was known for his rap lines, ventured into the clothing line business some years ago and it would not be far from truth to say it did not see the kind of patronage he would have wanted.
It was reported that one of his outlets was being closed down due to poor patronage.
Sarkordie is married to Tracy Owusu Addo, known in media circles as Tracy Sarkcess. The couple have a daughter together known affectionately as Titi.
She was the subject of discussion on social media after a Ghanaian comedian made a joke about her that seemed unpleasing to a section of Ghanaians.
