According to a UK Sun report citing sources at Daily Star, Kane, who has the chance of shining at the Nou Camp ahead of Spurs' clash against Barcelona in the Champions League is top of the Catalan club's transfer wishlist.

Spurs will travel to the Nou Camp to take on Barca, knowing too well a win over the Spanish side would guarantee them a place in the knockout stages of the European competition.

The North Londoners will be relying on Kane to lead from the front during the Tuesday night, December 11, clash.

Having lost their best players to Real Madrid, this will not be the first time Spurs to lose a top talent to Spain should Kane's deal to La Liga see the light of the day.

Kane, who has had an impressive career with Spurs has bagged 13 goals in 20 appearances so far this season, therefore making him a prime replacement for ageing Luis Suarez whose career at Barcelona has been riddled with knee problems.

Spurs, on their part may not be ready to offload their key talisman as they are yet to find a replacement for the 25-year-old.

As such, Barcelona are said to have lined up Paris Saint-Germain teenager Kylian Mbappe as a back-up option.
