After a hearing in the United States Congress that saw lawmakers asking Google chief executive Sundar Pichai some questions, the word "idiot" has been searched for more than one million times on the search engine.
That is because one interrogator, congresswoman Zoe Lofgren, asked the Google boss how and why certain photos accompany some word searches.
Lofgren claimed that the search for "idiot" in Google Images comes with first and foremost, photos of Donald Trump.
This sent the internet community around the world into a frenzy and got people searching up the word on Google.

Millions have found out the congresswoman was right. YEN.com.gh can confirm that our searches also yielded similar results with photos of US president Donald Trump.
According to Google Trends, "idiot" is currently the number one most searched for term in the US.
Google boss Pichai replied the lawmaker that Google search results were based on billions of keyword ranked according to more than 200 factors, including relevance and popularity.

As a result of this, social media users have started making jokes off the Google search. There are some who are however viewing this as a bias against the president.
