John Mahama asks MPs to help him be president again so as to make history

Former president John Dramani Mahama hopes to make history with winning back the presidency on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2020.

Mahama met earlier in the week, a group of NDC parliamentarians whom have declared their support for the former president.

He observed that there have been instances where former presidents returned to win general elections in some parts of the world and that this could happen in Ghana.

Mahama is considered the frontrunner in the bid to lead the NDC ahead of the presidential primaries in early 2019.
