Sensational Ghanaian singer Wiyaala thrilled hundreds of music lovers who trooped to the Alliance Francaise for her concert last Saturday.
Dubbed “The Lioness Concert”, the songstress performed some of her hit songs through the night.
But the highlight of the event was when Wiyaala invited veteran musician Teddy Osei to perform a duet with her to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ghana’s legendary band, Osibisa.
Their performance was the typical old school combining with the new generation on stage.
The pair performed “Woyaya”, one of the many evergreen songs penned by the Osibisa band.
Their performance was so emotional that some of the audience were moved to tears.
“Osibisa were such legends in their time and it was a huge honour when Teddy agreed to come and celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary with me,” Wiyaala said after the show.
Meanwhile, Teddy Osei also blessed the “Rock my body” hit maker, proclaiming that her best is yet to be seen.
