Ghana police arrest fraudsters in house swoop upon tip-off from foreign victims (VIDEO)

A video has made its way to social media and it shows what seems to be members of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) swooping on fraud suspects in their house in an unidentified part of the capital, Accra.

The video, sighted by YEN.com.gh courtesy of the Twitter feed of popular blogger Ameyaw Debrah, sees men in Ghana Police vests arresting the suspects amid a little scuffle.

However, even when some of the people were arrested without they giving the police a tough time, they were beaten by the law officers.

One does not also see in the video, the men believed to be officers showing any form of identification.

There is also a voiceover narration that seems to be coming from a deep voice speaking German.

We cannot confirm if the white presumed victims are Germans. But the video opens with a white man asking a man in a living room to open a door.

It is also impossible to verify if the arrested suspects are Ghanaians too, an issue most users on social media were desperate to know.

However, the police's abuse of the arrested got some people seemingly outraged.

A few of them even thought the police were acting in such a manner to please the white people on the scene.
