The statement was signed by the chairman of the Committee, Dr Kofi Amoah.

The competition is scheduled to be played between January and April, 2019.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi resigned from his position.
His resignation followed a crunch meeting between him and the GFA's Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee of the association was also discarded following the investigations of Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
This led to the uncovering of rot among administrators, players and even referees.
