Cristiano Ronaldo scored the only goal of the match as Juventus recorded a 1-0 victory over Torino in the Turin derby.
Juve continued their commanding lead in Serie A with 11 as they go in search for their ninth straight Scudetto.
The game was closely knitted as chances were few and far between in the first half.
But the talking point of match came when a poor back pass from Simone Zaza forced Torino goalkeeper to commit a foul on Mario Mandzukic as a penalty was awarded to the Bianconeri.
Ronaldo stepped up and took it and put the ball in the back of the net to make it 1-0 for the Old Lady.
Mandzukic had his goal disallowed few minutes later as Maxilliano Allegri dominated the second half.
Ronaldo became the match winner in his first Turin derby as Juventus as ran away with a 1-0 win.
Inter Milan also had a 1-0 victory over Udinese at the San Siro but remain in third position, 14 points off the pace to Juve at the top.
