National Democratic Congress (NDC) firebrand and former deputy Minister of Information, Felix Kwakye Ofosu will be filing to contest to be a Member of Parliament Abora Asebu Kwamankese seat on the NDC ticket.
The seat is currently being held by Anthony Christian Dadzie, one of only four lawmakers from the NDC in the Central Region.
Mynewsgh.com reports that Ofosu hails Abakrampa in the Abora Asebu Kwamankese constituency of the region.
He reportedly declared his intention to contest the next parliamentary primaries of the NDC in the constituency when the party begins the process.
Ofosu is widely known for his debating abilities. He has carved a niche over the last five or so years for being a sharp-witted and -tongued fellow.
He is also very popular among the grassroots of the party at all levels in the country and belief that he can take the seat he desires is not misplaced.
Meanwhile, former president and man most feel will lead the NDC again in 2020, John Mahama has been spotted at a wedding a former beauty queen.
