It was a chaotic scene in the corridors of Parliament as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, in a flight of fury, threatened to smack the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo-Prampram, Sam George.
The issue surrounding the chaos is not known to us right now but in a video YEN.com.gh possesses, Botchway seemed enthused in an argument with another MP, Sam Okudzeto-Ablakwa.
It would seem the minister was trying to either seek clarification or give one. She could be overheard in the video saying "you should ask me".
An amount of "60 million" was also mentioned in the noisy exchange.
Amid the shouting match with Okudzeto-Ablakwa, Botchway branched out to confront George. What she was saying to George was not audible.
But in a quick speed the minister lunged at the Ningo-Prampram, looking like she wanted to strike him. But George was shielded by those who were there.
After the two were separated, either politician refused to go their way. George can be heard in the video asking, "Are you trying to assault me?".
Details are scanty since this is developing story. YEN.com.gh will update readers as and when verified information trickle in.
