- Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has apologized for destroying equipment in the studios of Hot FM
- The incident occurred when he went to the station to react to allegations of occultism
- Rev. Owusu Bempah revealed that he intended to sue the General Manager of the station butn changed his mind
The founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry, Rev. Owusu Bempah, has rendered an apology to the management of Hot 93.9Fm, for vandalizing a laptop and microphone belonging to the station.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the man of God went to the station to respond to claims that he is an occultist.
The allegation was made by a former occult grandmaster, Evangelist Dominic, who is said to have made similar statements about other men of God.
Evangelist Dominic is reported to have claimed that Archbishop Duncan-Williams, Ebenezer Opambour, Angel Obinim, Rev Obofour and Rev.Owusu Bempah are all occult prophets, and deceiving Christians.
This did not go down well with Owusu Bempah, who vandalized the radio station. The reason for his action, YEN.com.gh understands, is because he claims the radio host, Kwaku Annan, appeared to support the claim made by Dominic.
Owusu Bempah, on Monday, December 17, 2018, visited the radio station to render his apology.
He was accompanied by his church members, bodyguards and Prophet Kumchacha of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries.
He stated that he had intentions of suing the radio station for defamation of character, but has changed his mind due to the reception of the General Manager.
He also advised the General Manager to terminate the employment of Kwaku Annan, because he is unprofessional and can lead to the collapse of the radio station.
