National service teacher drowns at Gomoa Fetteh beach

A National service person at Fettehman Senior High School in the Gomoa East District, David Andrews Nyarme, has been reported dead.

Nyarme, according to reports, met his untimely death when he drowned at the Fetteh beach while swimming.

Headmistress of Fettehman SHS, Stella Mawuto Kwame, confirmed the news, saying it was a big blow to the entire school.

“We are very worried about the incident even though I was not around when it happened. I came around 8:00 pm and saw that an ambulance had come to retrieve the body to the mortuary so I called his parents to come and identify the body,” Adomonline.com reported her to have said.

She added the late Andrews Nyarme was a graduate from the Presbyterian University who was posted to the school in September to undertake his mandatory service.
