Man charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting his wife as she slept

Effort Dankwa aged 36, suspected of shooting and paralyzing his wife, Benita Dankwa aged 29, has been charged with attempted murder.

The suspect was arrested in 2016, the same year in which the incident occurred, after police investigations identified him as the prime suspect in an attack on his wife.

Benita was eight months pregnant when she was shot in the chest, in what she believed was an attempt by her husband to kill her.
