Chelsea on Saturday, December 22, suffered their third defeats of the season losing 0-1 at home against former Premier League champions Leicester City.
31-year-old Englishman Jamie Vardy scored the only goal that gave Leicester City the win at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea missed the chance to go third on the Premier League standings.
Chelsea would have themselves to blame for losing this game in front of their faithfuls as they had many chances which would have given them goals in the first half.
The match was also the battle of the midfield between Brazilian star Willian and Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi who was superb for the visitors.
Leicester City scored their only and winning goal in this match in the 51st minute through Jamie Vardy who was assisted by James Maddison.
Chelsea tried not to lose this game at home, but Leicester City players held on for an incredible 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge.
