France international Paul Pogba has explained that he is indebted to former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho for helping him improve as a person.
Pogba's statement comes five days after the Portuguese football coach was dismissed at Old Trafford due to poor results in all competitions.
During his stay at Manchester United for almost three years, Jose Mourinho won the Carabao Cup title and also the Europa League.
Pogba who was part of the team that won these two titles has now sent his appreciation to Jose Mourinho.
"We won trophies with Jose and I want to thank him for that.
"He made me improve, as a person as well, and that's it. That's the past, I want to thank him for that.
''I'm sure that is the same for all the players and now we are looking forward to the next game,'' Pogba explained according to BBC.
Earlier, YEN.com.gh had reported how Premier League giants Manchester United appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjær as their new manager until the end of the ongoing 2018/19 Premier League season.
The 45-year-old Norwegian football manager replaces former manager Jose Mourinho who was thrown out of the club because of poor results.
He will be joined by Mike Phelan as first-team coach, together with Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna this season at Old Trafford.
