Government to spend almost GHC80 billion in the year 2019

- The government will have GHc80 billion to spend in the year 2018

- GHc30 billion of the amount will be spent on salaries and compensations

- Another GHC20 billion will be used to pay interests on exising loans

Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that the government of Ghana will spend almost GHC80 billion in the year 2019.

This was confirmed after parliament approved the amount, and indicated that about GHC100 million should be used to subsidize electricity bills.

Members of Parliament sat for about 13 hours and managed to pass the Appropriation Bill shortly after midnight.

About GHC30 billion of the amount will be spent on the salaries of workers, as well as compensations.

Again, another GHC20 billion is expected to be used in the payment of interest on existing loans.
